What art materials do I need?

I keep it simple for these classes. All you need is a set of 12 watercolour paints, watercolour brushes and some watercolour paper.

How do I download Zoom?

If you have not yet used Zoom you can download the app prior to the class. You can do that here: https://zoom.us/download It is a good idea to do this before the class to test that your audio and video is working. On the day of the class, when you click the meeting link above the Zoom app will automatically load. Be sure to join the meeting using Audio and Video.

How do I join a Zoom meeting?

You will receive a link to the Zoom class meeting after you register. This link will be used for all the classes for that course session so hold onto it.

Where can I buy supplies?

Many stationery stores carry watercolour supplies now. Art supply stores can be daunting if you are new to painting. Ask for a simple set of paints and brushes to get started. The paper is the most important thing. Be sure to buy 140lb or heavier. Click here for a list of the supplies you will need and art supply shops in Canada.

How do I cancel my class registration?

Refunds are available for non-artsPlace classes. If you cancel your registration up to 3 days before the class start date, you will receive a full refund minus a processing fee of 5.6%. No refunds will be given for cancellation within 3 days of the class start date.
